Usui Reiki
The name Reiki, pronounced ''Ray-key'', comes from the Japanese words ''rei'' meaning spirit, and ''ki'' meaning energy. Translated this means ''Universal Life Energy''.
This treatment is an ancient Japanese energy technique using light touch and intention to allow Life Force Energy to flow through the hands to the person being treated to help reduce stress, relax body and mind, and help promote health, healing, and well being on all levels.
This energy therapy works holistically on all levels: Mental, Physical, Emotional, Energetic, and Spiritual. The energy has its own intelligence and goes where it is needed most for the person. Holding specific healing intentions is highly beneficial as well.
When doing a Reiki Session, I may include other healing modalities as well such as gemstone therapy, chakra & energy balancing, aromatherapy, sound healing and vibrational healing using tuning forks.
This can be a full treatment all its own in the time duration you choose, or it can be added to any of the other treatment options in the time duration that you choose.
A full Reiki treatment only is done fully clothed.
